Crunchy Cumin Seeds Crackers
Servings – 2 – 3
INGREDIENTS
Whole wheat flour – 70 grams
Maize flour – 1 tablespoon
Oats – 2 teaspoons
Cumin – 1/2 teaspoon
Salt – 1/ 4 teaspoon
Yogurt – 2 teaspoons
Olive oil – 1 teaspoon
Milk – 50 milliliters
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients and knead it into a dough.
2. Take a ball from dough and flatten it with the help of a rolling pin.
3. Cut out a square from it.
4. Prick it with fork and place it on a baking tray.
5. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF/180ยฐC. Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes.
6. Remove it from oven and allow it to cool.
7. Serve or store in airtight container.
Corn Peas & Paneer Salad
Servings – 2
INGREDIENTS
Water – 450 milliliters
Sweet corns – 50 grams
Green peas – 50 grams
Boil for 10 minutes and strain water
Cool for 5 – 7 minutes
Paneer – 50 grams
Salt – 1/4 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. Take a pan, add 450 milliliters water, 50 grams sweet corns, 50 grams green peas and mix it well.
2. Bring it to a boil.
3. Boil for 10 minutes on medium heat.
4. Remove it from heat and drain the veggies.
5. Transfer this into a bowl, add 50 grams paneer, 1/4 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
6. Serve.
Sprout Khichdi
Servings – 2
Washed rice – 30 grams
Water – 250 milliliters
Water – 350 milliliters
Mung bean sprouts – 50 grams
Black chickpeas – 50 grams
Salt – 1/2 teaspoon
Ghee – 1 tablespoon
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/4 teaspoon
PREPARATION
1. In a bowl, add 30 grams washed rice, 250 milliliters water and soak for 20 minutes.
2. Take a pressure cooker, add 350 milliliters water, 50 grams mung bean sprouts, 50 grams sprout chickpeas, 1/2 teaspoon salt and mix it well.
3. Cover it with lid and cook until you hear 2 whistles.
4. Open the lid and remove it from heat.
5. Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a skillet, add 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and stir well.
6. Then, add the boiled sprouts and rice in it and mix it well.
7. Cook for 5 – 7 minutes on medium heat.
8. Remove it from heat.
9. Serve.
